These distinctive yellow cabinets are a common sight on open (non tunnel) sections of the London Underground network.
They are always sited in pairs and house traction current section isolation switches that enable isolation of both positive & negative traction current in nearby track current sections.
These represent
the current modern fibre-glass type cabinets with a distinctive curved
roof.
Supplied ready assembled and finish painted. They are hand made & of highly
detailed etched brass construction.
Fitted with high resolution decals indicating relevant current section number,
track identity & 'high voltage' notice.
