
These distinctive yellow cabinets represent the earlier wooden type cabinets with a pitched roof that were found on open track sections of the London Underground network.
The cabinets are always located in pairs - 1 positive (red) & 1 negative (blue) and are used to house the isolating switches used to isolate both positive & negative traction current in a nearby track current section.
Supplied ready
assembled and finish painted. They are hand made & of highly detailed etched
brass construction.
Fitted with high resolution decals indicating relevant current section number,
track identity & 'high voltage' notice.
