Hello John, Thanks for the wheel sets, and yes, they do make a significant difference. After several years of frustrated pottering, trying to fine tune the EFE trains, with motor positions, weighting etc, the new wheels are a great leap forward, and derailments are substantially reduced. I also like the way the brass bearings pop fit neatly into position. With retirement approaching I will have more time, and less pottering, so the next move is to upgrade more of the wheel-sets. and even try to get my head around DCC. Anyway, Thanks, and more wheel sets to be ordered! Regards Ian Robins. |

| Dear John, just to let you know the tube train arrived safely this morning. I am really pleased and impressed with the improved running quality compared to my non converted EFE units and would seriously recommend the conversion to anybody. When I get chance in the next few days I will send a couple of shots of my LT layout. Once again thanks for the great service a quality product and great service. Regards John Shaw |

This is a quick message from Mike and Cameron Fay to thank John Polley for putting our tube train together at the excellent Acton Town exhibition last Saturday. The train runs superbly, not least due to the weights inserted which feel of a real train. Cam has followed the Abbey Road layout for a few years now and was amazed to meet his hero in person! We ill send pics of our new tube line soon. Cheers Mike & Cam. |

Dear Sir, You
will be pleased – possibly relieved – to hear that I
received the models this morning. They are superb, and run
beautifully on 4th radius curves. Needless to say, I am
absolutely thrilled with them. Thank you very much for all
your efforts and help. No doubt I shall hopefully be in touch
in the not too distant future. I have my eye on the motorised
4-car Metropolitan line set now. Once again, thank you and
kind regards.

Dear John, I have just had a chance to try out the replacement bogies you sent me a few days ago and I have to say I am hugely impressed! I had almost given up hope that I would ever get the unit running properly, short of replacing the actual motor – but instead I now find it is running better than ever. Well worth £30! Many thanks indeed! Richard |

Hi John. These are
really great bogies.
All bogies received & fitted, excellent even with your new etched
brass coupling bars (better than my converted 1mm electrical cable
soldered, even though they done the job!). I look forward to your next
venture with baited breath & can only assume it will be as useful
as your previous items. Many thanks for the update & I look
forward to my next collection of your items. Kind regards, Bill.

| Hi John, Just a quick note to say that I picked up the tube stock at my brothers wedding on Saturday, thanks very much. Always nice to get a present at someone else's party even if you paid for it yourself :-). The model looks great. I was nearly going to email to say that you'd missed out the motor but then I realised it was there but really small. Shows how things have changed since I used to model last time round. Cheers Matthew |

Hi John, Have
just finished an EFE bogie conversion to your romford design and I am
very pleased with the result. The whole train now performs better and
you could actually see the train struggling before. You
may already be aware of the connecting bar problem however. (note
from john - yes, I have become aware of this issue. New purpose built, longer metal couplings are
currently being designed. When released, these will be issued free
of charge to all
customers who have purchased the EFE bogie upgrade pack to date)
They are about 7- 8mm. too short due to the relative position of the
pins now. Thank goodness I kept the shorter coupling bars, as I used
these to lengthen the longer ones. The
carriages now have good clearance on curves whereas before they could
not negotiate even 3rd radius curves. In
spite of this the new bogies are the mutts nuts. They make a fine
train excellent. Many
thanks and good luck to you.

To Mr Polley, I have dealt with your company twice and on both occasions, the service has been exemplary. Not only have the carriages turned up very quickly, but the degree of detail on the model 1938 carriages is excellent. I have been so impressed with the service I received from Metromodels, that not only will you get further business from me in the near future, but I also wanted to take the time to say so. Kind Regards. |

| Hello, John - I just wanted to let you know that the UK and US Postal Services did their jobs well and my tube cars arrived intact today. They look terrific and are great additions to my collection. I love the details and thanks so much for customizing the placards, enabling the coaches to serve destinations that exist only in my mind! Please do let me know when your tube station models become available. Thanks again... |

A note to confirm
that the package has arrived safe and sound thanks. The
motorised car runs very well doesn't it!

I did find the
train a bit sluggish at first but did as you suggested and removed the
retaining clips from the non motorised car which helped quite a bit. Whilst
in the process of taking car bodies apart I decided to put some weight
in the motorised cars which made all the difference also I applied
some very fine sewing machine oil with a fine paint brush to the
axles........better still !!!!!! The UG train
looks great when running along side the Flying Scot on parallel
tracks,, I do find the couplings a bit fiddly even when using the long
bars but find that with the help of my wife with her smaller fingers
and better eye sight we cope very
well.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

| 'The
parcel was waiting and nicely packed. Thanks for the very specific
paperwork and the helpful and detailed, easy to follow, instructions.
The attachment of the coupling rod is fiddly! I have used a long one as
Ryan's track is quite small and has bends and points. When he came in
from school we let him see it and he was completely overwhelmed, as you
will see from the photo of him looking at just one carriage, the
motorised one as it was going round the track before I linked the two.
Your web site is gorgeous and you have carried through the excellent
service in my order.' Thanks a lot. Kindest regards |

| "John, the DM car of 1995 stock gratefully received yesterday with many thanks of one very grateful 10 year old boy. Excellent product / detail etc. Thanks for fitting the handrails pre-posting. Looks like you'll be getting orders for more of the same this Christmas! Good luck to you & your business." | Michael

| "Thought I would let you know that no disasters happened to my Bakerloo Line set on their long journey to Bournemouth. The pictures I have seen do not do them justice, quite an achievement in RTR! Think I will need a little more weight over the motor as suggested in your comprehensive instructions, since although built to 4mm branch line standards, my layout causes some hiccups and wheel slip when trundling along to the 'Elephant & Castle!' Thanks for providing a most valuable service." | Graham

| "The
train arrived safely through the post this morning, many thanks! I am very impressed how small and hidden the motor is inside the driving car bogie from a quick general exterior examination. In fact, without looking at the interior, I could not see which bogie was motorised until I spotted the tell tale missing seating and motor unit, which is, of course fully understandable. All in all an excellent conversion job, done to a really nicely detailed model! Many thanks once more, from a very happy customer!" |

| "I have to tell you what a pleasure it is to run the motorized train you supplied. It not only brings back the very earliest pleasure of 'playing trains' from Hornby Dublo days but removes the regret I always had that the train that literally ran underneath my house was not available as a model. (Dad thought the Ever Ready model shoddy). I hope there are plenty of Bakerloo fans out there to keep your production lines rolling." | Brian

| "John, I got my '59 EFE stock models yesterday -- they are really nice, and you did an wonderful job in motorising them! I was wondering if EFE will continue to produce plastic versions of tube stock, and/or surface line stock? Do you think you might have a go at surface stock eventually? Anyway, thanks for your help, and I'll be purchasing from you again before the year's end!" | John
S. Evans New York USA - July 2003 |
| "Morning, just to say thanks very much, I am most pleased with the set. I was amazed at the interior detail and the fact that you squeezed in the motors. I set it up on Friday night and although at first it was a bit sluggish, its my switchback track that needs a clean I think. I would like to add my thanks and for the quickness of your work. I would like to be kept on your lists and updated as and when. A 1938 stock sounds an interesting addition but not just yet. I have been in touch with Phil and let him know I'm impressed. All the best." | David

I 'll take enjoyment with new tube train model in my life. Please, keeping my details from your list and give your new item's information to me in future. P.S I'm really interest in London underground. I would like to get 1967/72 stocks in the future. (For the reason, I must earn more..... )" | Takumi

| "Hello John. Thank you for my order which I received this morning. I am extremely impressed with the detail on each of the models, in particular the detail inside the cars. I didn't realise they had the route maps and strap hangers! I am very pleased with them, and I would be grateful if you could keep me informed about future releases of other Underground stock models. Once again thank you very much for your help and advice." | Edward

Thanks again for a very professional service - everything delivered within 24 hours. My 4-car 59 stock units runs exceptionally smoothly on the test track and I will definitely be making more purchases from you in future." | Simon
